the gray sleeping smiley face means that you appear offline to all of your contacts. U should see a button that says sign in. Then puut your ID and password in my email is everyoneluvsmelots and my password is ewewew so I would enter that in. If it doesn't work then you have to wait, cuz that happened to me and after awhile it finally let me on. Good Luck. After that it didn't give me any more problems. don't worry it's a common difficulty with yahoo messenger.
When I try to get into yahoo messenger it wont let me and the little smiley face is just sleeping what do I do
